Horizon Science Academy Davenport recently introduced its new school mascot, Ember the Phoenix, marking an exciting moment for the school community.
The Phoenix was selected to represent the values of strength, growth, and perseverance, qualities that reflect the daily experiences of students at HSA Davenport. The introduction of Ember serves as a symbol of students continuing to grow, learn, and strive to be their best both inside and outside the classroom.
The announcement was paired with a special performance by the school’s first-grade students, who shared the school’s spirit song. Through their performance, students highlighted the core values that guide the HSA Davenport community:
